Which of the two drag radials is better and how long will they last?? Nitto-BFG
I was looking at the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial 2 for $151 each plus shipping, 6/32" tread depth, and i was looking at the Nitto 555R Drag Radial for $183 shipped, 6/32" tread depth, and i was wondering a few things.
The tires will be used on 17x11 ZR1 rims with 50mm offset. They are 315/35-17. I rarely if ever do burn outs, and i doubt my engine has enough power to even spin the 315 drs.
About how long will each last?
Which one would be better in the rain?
Which on would hook up better?
Which would you reccomend?
Thanks so much, I'll be ordering one of them today.

my old BFG's lasted 5k miles. My Nittos have more than that and still have 50% tread left. The BFG's were far superior at the track. The Nittos were far superior in the rain.
I just ordered some Mickey Thompson DR's. But if that is not an option, I'd get BFG's again.

nitto definatly
bfg definatly
depends on what you want, i would think nittos for what you want...they are a better all around street drag radial...if it was more for the strip i'd get the mickey thompsons...bfg's only if you need a wide tire on an 18" rim...ie 315/30/18

yea basicly what 777 said. nittos last longer and better in rain, but bfg's stick better. i love my bfg's even tho they only lasted about 5k miles. just cuz of how good they were at the track. but if its a car you drive a lot, and plan on getting stuck in rain, you might wanna lean towards the nittos

Agree. I buy a new set of Nitto drags every Spring to start the season off right. I post about 15k miles a year on them, including track times. They take the abuse of daily driving, track, and showing off. By the end of 12k, they need changed, very little tread left. By 15k, they are closer to being a slick than a DOT tire. But for the life that they have lived, and the price...to me it's a no brainer.

No one really knows because the tires are so new. With your HP nittos should be fine for street use.
