Default Would GS D3 285/35 18

I've recently order some 2005 C6 wheels front 17x8.5 +58 and rear is 18x9.5 +65.. I know I will need 1/2" spacer and some longer studs for the rear...But is the the tire size 285/35 18 the recommeded tire size for the 65 offset..and yes the will be the d3's..or could I go bigger thanx...

I would actually go with 275s, for the simple fact that most people with 9.5" wheels go with that size and don't have problems. I've heard of more problems going bigger than not.

I believe that size is on backorder and not the 285...

Ah so. Well if you really need them, 10mm is NOT that much of a difference.

those tires should be fine as far as fitting the rim...285/35/18 is max i would go on a 18x9.5...people go with 285/40/ on 17x9 stock wheels so you should be fine...pm..xstaz28 about this...he will be able to help you more than i ...he is very knowledgable about tire sizes and rims...but personally i wouldn't go any bigger than what the manuf. recommends...it is there for a reason

edit: to also help with your tires get an adjustable phb from someone...i got mine from bmr...it will help center the tires in the rear...

275's will be available 1/14/05. I've been trying to get my hands on some for months.

Either the 275/35ZR18 or the 285/35ZR18 will fit fine of a 9.5" wide wheel. I would not go wider.

I like it. The wheels look badass on your car.
