Default OEM Z06 offset

After reading the 'does it fit' sticky, I was looking at OEM Z06 rims, and I thought I read somewhere that the 18x10.5's on the back have a +65mm, is this true?

And if so, would it even work with F-body without spacers?

Base Corvette 18" x 9.5" are 63 mm and the Z06 18" x 10.5" are noted to be 58 mm.

A 65 mm wheel will not fit our cars . . .

What is the stock offset on the F-body wheels?

I am looking at getting some that have 56 mm offset. Currently I have Enkei V-1s that have too much offset (not sure how much), but my tires rub the fenders. This is with only 275/40/17 tires.

OEM wheels for the SS had a 56 mm offset. Too much offset IMHO . . . .

I was pretty sure a 65 wouldnt fit, and I dont know why i can't find the Z06's with correct offset.

Because they have never been made with the correct offest for the F-Car. People are just making them fit, with the BFH mod and wheel spacers.

If you can find the 53 mm offset they are the best fit.

I have had TWO sets of OEM SPEEDLINE Z06 wheels on my car and both fit fine. NO spacers !! I had 295/35-18 first and then 305/35-18 the second time.
The second set, I had to hammer a "little". Not much. I also have Sportlines and adj. panhard bar. Hope this helps.
