Nitto burnout

I just got some Nitto's installed on my 2000 TA A4, and holding the brake as hard as I can and gassing it the tires still get grip and move the car, which then causes my car to backfire. Is there any other simple way of doing a burnout with these Nitto's? I had no problem before with Falken 451s.
TIA

nothing is healthy for a stock rear....and you told him to do exactly what i told him to do pretty much. he started by keeping his foot on the brakes and rolling into the throttle, but it didnt work. so, he should hit the throttle, then the brakes.

After your upcoming install you wont have any problems showing those Nittos who is boss Jon. For right now you'll just need a waterbox like at the track. You could carry around a bottle of water and make your own whenever you want to roast them.
Glad to hear they do stick though, because I'll be in need of some new rear tires soon and was wondering if Nittos really where better than street tires on the street.

I had TCS off, and before I had it in D, held brake and smashed the throttle, but now it slides all over the place instead of just doing a burnout. Will putting it in 1st help out? Stabbing the throttle and then hitting the brake doesn't seem like it would do anything but make me take off and then stop.

Just line up and go, if your car can't break them loose then you dont really need to heat them up.

i have some 315/35/17 nittos and i just get in the water and roll out put it in 1st and floor it to about 5grand hold it for about 5 or 6 sec and let out of brake and you'll feel them grab and then you'll be good to go, they should also spin on highway also just put it in 1st and do the same as at the track minus the water, don't do it in drive because the tranny will get hot and start to slip, not good at all, good luck!!

all you have to do is lower the pressure in your tires (nitto's), pull around the waterbox, reverse into the waterbox, so your getting enough water, let car idle, alot of people like to have it in second gear for some reason, foot on brake all the way down, give a little bit of gas and there you are, doing a burnout until your tires get smokey, its just like your stalling your car at the tree but not letting it break loose,
either way, hope that helps good luck with that and let us know how it goes.

how hard can it possibly be, i never knew someone would need step by step instructions on when to hit the gas and the brake, its a pretty simple concept hold the break and puch the long skinny pedal til your tires spin when theres enough smoke coming off the tires for you let off the brake

Very frustrating how a few of you are choosing to be dicks about the situation.. The guy is possibly new, and just asking a question...
This is what the forums for, I'm sure any moderator will agree that no question is stupid, and should be flamed upon.. If your going to do that, then you shouldn't bother being a part of these forums..thanks..
