hub-centric wheel adapters...
Does anyone use them? I did do a search, but I just wanted another opinion. My buddy just put a pair on the rear wheels of his mustang, and it looks really good. It makes the tire even with the outside of the fender. I was thinking about getting a pair 1.25" wide for my rear WS6 rims. Is there anything wrong with using them?

I have had both good and bad luck with them. Just remember to re-torque them a couple of times. I didn't, and you can guess the outcome. I have a new pair of 1 1/4 hub-centric adapters in the garage if you want them.

Do you have any pics of them on your WS6?

I have 2" Skulte adaptors that I used on the Iroc. I will sell them if you want them because I do not have the Iroc anymore. Skulte is one of the only company's that make these and they are pricey. I paid $350 for all 4 of mine.

I'm putting my Prostars on this weekend, that'll give me a chance to put them on and take some pics for you with the G2 wheels if you want. I could probably come off the price a few dollars if you really need them as well, depending on shipping costs to Canada..(Cost me $18 to ship a cutout to Canada, and I only sold it for $20..)

i ran some with my y2k rims for years and never had any problems.mine where made by h&r and are designed to use for road racing to help give a wider stance.the ones i have are 25mm thick(basicly 1").i don't think you would want to use any bigger, because stock ws6 wheels are 7" backspace so with the adapter it will be 6" bs and 3" in front.that 3" in front will put you right at the wheelwell lip.the 11's that i run now are 7 3/4 bs and 3 1/4 front and i had to roll the lip to keep it from rubbing.
anyway i have 2 i'm not useing and if you want them i'll sell them for $75 shipped.brand new they are $150 for the pair.
if you want more info on them do a search on the web for "h&r wheel spacers".you shouldn't have any problem finding them.i think i bought mine from livermoreperformance.com
just let me know if you want them.

jonnyc, I may be interested. Question about them, if they are only 1" wide, do they still clear the stock wheel studs or do you have to cut the studs down. I just thought to get 1.25" so when they are against the hub/rear brake, the original wheel studs don't go past the spacer.

on the stock studs you will need to grind off the very end that doesn't have the threads.or,if the back of the wheels have a hollow area between the holes for the studs, you can leave the studs the way they are and let them go into the hollow area.my y2ks were aftermarket and were solid on the back.but my buddies factory z06 wheels had hollow areas in the back.so you will have to check the back of your wheels.

My WS6 wheels were solid as well. I tried to put them on anoter set of adapters on my '69, and they woulnd't work. The G2 wheels aren't solid all the way around, so they fit fine on it. I didn't think about that either till I read jonnyc's post.
