FINALLY: 18x8.5 & 18x10.5 C6 Wheels are on! <<PICS>>
Finally got my polished C6 wheels on! They are 18x8.5 +56mm with 265/35/18 on Front, and 18x10.5 +56mm with 285/35/18 on Rears. The shop originally couldn't fit the rears, because they had the whole car in the air and the rim was coming into contact with the metal edge of the bump stops. I almost started crying, but I asked if we could test-fit a spacer on there to see if that was an option (knowing they wouldn't actually let me drive out of there with them on). So we put some 1/4" spacers on, lowered the car, and found out that the bump stop sits under the inside lip of the rim! So, they jacked up the rear end just enough to get the wheels on without the bump stops coming into play. After all was said and done, the rears have a good 1/2" - 3/4" of room around the wheel well and don't even come close the edge of the bump stops. They look sweet!
Here's the wheel:

nice looking wheels, my only complaint about the new C6's and Z06's are the design doenst allow for any type of lip. they look good, but w/o the lip they look skinny to me. i think they look hot on your Z though, get us some more pics showing the width

I think the only thing that looks a bit off is the fender gap. I think when the rears go bad, I'll get taller tires. I dunno if I want to lower it, but we'll see. The tires are very short due to the 35 series, but I still LOVE the way they look!

Oh, and these arent' STOCK C6 wheels, they were reproductions...I am happy with them cause you don't see too many camaro's around with them, so to me that's a bonus!

EDIT: I added the before picture so you can see the difference in the wheels alone. Thanks for the comments and constructive criticism guys, it's all appreciated. I'm starting to think that it's definitely due for a drop, the more I look at it...

Haha, yeah, i noticed that too....they are just chrome overlays, but are already peeling off due to washing. looks like the badges will all be coming off, with some new rotors and painting the calipers...
Oh, and i got my McGards on tonight...

So it's almost a split jury huh? if i had my choice, of course i would have some TTIIs, but these were available on the cheap ($700 w/tires) so i just couldn't pass 'em up. I really just wanted to separate my Z28 from others, and I think i at least accomplished that
