315/35/17s fit on ws6 rear wheels?
The person b4 me put on Nitto 315/35/17 on stock ws6 rims.
Tire rack says my rim size is to small and will cause the center of the tire to wear bad?!!!!!!!!
Again, i already have these tires on from the person I purchased them from, they do not look unevely worn to me though?
just wondering?

nitto doesnt recommend them on anything less than a 10 inch rim. and bfg anything less than an 11. with that said i as countless others have 315 nittos on stock rims and have had no issues. but others have. if u r going with a nitto id say ur fine--any other tire and id think twice. i guess that makes me a "careless" tire installer.

even though it *can* be done with Nittos... I wouldn't do it on a 17x9 or 17x9.5" rim.. I really don't think it's worth the risk .. But, you be the judge ..
Nice set up on the L67

both actually. the tire in theory could pop off the bead beings its not on flush as like a 275 would be. plus it causes the tire to crown in the center--but with a nitto i only run about20-22 psi in them which helps eliminate the crowning. and aide traction. but honestly even at 20 psi there is still about an inch on either side of the tire thats not touching the concrete--thusfor u r still getting the same contact patch as a 275. if ur doing it for traction-dont. if ur doing it for looks--go for it.

As Tire Rack stated, the tire will physically fit, it just won't work well. The center will wear out fast, if you let enough air out to get the sides of the tire to wear, the center will cup.
Plain and simple, a 275 will work better in the corners, in a straight line and it will weigh and cost less than a 315. The only reason I can see to run a 315 on a 9 inch wheel is either you got one heck of a good deal on them or you just want the look of a wide tire. I honestly don't think that safety will ever be a problem but I'm certainly not gonna say it's 100% safe either. End result is there really isn't a need to run a 315 on a 9 inch wheel unless it's for posing.
BTW, I ran 335s on a 10.5 inch wheel for a while which is about the same as running a 315 on a 9 inch wheel. They handled like crap and they wouldn't hook up in a straight line at all. But, I got em cheap and used them as a go/no-gage for 315 fitmet.

I have used the 315 Nittos on my Firehawk wheels, 17X9. I usually ran about 24-26lbs on the street, no more. They wore evenly, sure not ALL of the tread was on the pavement, but most of it was. Nittos run a little small compared to other brands, so the 315s on a 9in wheel isn't as bad as others would be. I never had any problems, but I might just go with 275s next go around and see if there is any difference. Good luck!

Good lord, the experiment is over people! Nominal 'recommended' rim section for that tire is 11.5 depending on tire manufacturer. In saying that, you typically have an inch or so play with regarding rim width - 10.5 to 12.5. Not 9.5...not 13.5. Go outside the specs and you're playing a little roulette. Just because it fits, doesn't mean it's right
