C5 lighter than Zo6 wheels 18" version?

Default C5 lighter than Zo6 wheels 18" version?

Is the C5 18 inch lighter than the z06 18 inch version?

From what I've heard yes, but not by much. Of course remember the Z06 is an inch wider than the Y2K or magnesium wheels.

The C5 wheel (wagon Wheel) and the AFS Z06 wheels both weigh 50lbs.

I believe the run flats weight more though

From looks though I would say the Z06 wheel is stronger.

yes, wheel and tire. 275/40/18 Nitto on the C5 and 295/35/18 Kumho on the Z06.

I was weighing my C5 wheels the other day for shipping costs and decided to weigh the Z06's as well since I was putting the ZR1's on for an auto-x event..

btw, the front Z06's with 275/35/18 tires are 50lbs.
front C5's with 245/45/17 are 45lbs.
My ZR1's with 275/40/17 Nitto 555RII's are 51.5lbs.

Are you referring to an aftermarket version of the Z06 wheel???....They are MUCH heavier than the stockers ya know....

When you say much heavier, do you mean 5lbs, 10lbs, 20lbs?
