Default Found some wheels I ....

like finally. I have sent an e-mail asking for sizes avaliable & cost.
The wheel is a Fikse Classic FM5

Does anyone on here have these rims?
If so what sizes are they on front & back?
Did you need spacers?
How much did they cost for the entire set w/o shipping?

If anyone can anwser these question or has any information on these wheels, it is very much appreciated.

If I remember, they are north of the 3 grand mark for all 4. Plenty of cars around here with 'em, though. Try the search.

I bought mine off a member here. They will run you a pretty penny. Mine are 17x9.5/11.

I read in an older thread where someone said that they run about $700 a rim for the classic series & around $1000 a rim for the Profil series.

Is this correct??
If so thats alot of money for 17" rims.

Yup, that is the basic pricing. Just got some FIKSE for my GTO, with tires they were $3,800. . . .

Quality and uniqueness costs.

The Profils are much nicer, as they don't have the ancient "stepped lip" design, as Tony would say!

I bought them from Thunder Racing. If you buy them retail expect to wait about 6-8 weeks. I also got the 17x9.5 (fronts) and 17x11 (rears) in technipolish. If you get 9.5s all the way around it'll be a little cheaper than the 11s in the rear. Expect to pay around 2400-2800 with shipping.

Well, looks like I'm just gonna have to start saving then. Every since I saw these wheels I decided thats what I'm gonna get. And I do want the 17" x 11" out back also so looks like its just gonna flat out cost me. Oh well.

Save up and get what you want. Don't settle for less. Otherwise you'll regret it in the end.

Thats what I'm planning on doing. Its bout to be winter anyway so I'm not worried bout rolling the stock WS6 wheels.

I also just talked to a Fikse rep today & got pricing.

Classic series: Any style in: 17" x 9.5": $675 each
Any style in: 17" x 11" : $714 each

Profil series: Any style in: 17" x 9.5": $788 each
Any style in: 17" x 11" : $855 each
Pricing includes: valve stems, centercaps, & technipolish finish.

For those that dont know, these are (3) piece modular lightweight racing wheels.
When you place an order it takes (3) weeks from order date before the wheels are shipped. This is because they custome make the wheels for your specific car. Also if you ever plan on a brake upgrade you need to go with the Profil series.

FYI you can get them at a good price used if you just have the cash in savings and find the right deal. I sold my SLP chrome WS6 wheels and tires for 950 and bought a set of FM5's for 1895 with tires that were good for a summer. Thats the best deal I've seen on them used but I have seen them in the 2200 range.

Fikse's are extremely nice and light wheels you can't go wrong. I'm either going to do CCW's or Fikse's for my Z06 someday....
