Curious how they hook now off a launch? How many miles did they last?

That ain't ****.

You're fine for a little bit. I've got BFG DR's on my car right now worse than that. They have been bald for awhile and have the chords showing in multiple spots. The sidewall is also weather checked.

In the past I've had nothing but chords showing on the tires. Both sides, from the inner sidewall to the outter.......just chords. Needless to say I ran those quite a bit farther than anyone should ever do, but doing burnouts is so easy, and finding the time to go to the tire store and buy new ones is so hard sometimes.

I remember driving over 100 miles behind another ls1tech member (who will remain nameless) while the steel belts on his BFG's were showing the whole time

Just be careful... with tires that bald, it won't take much for the back end to come around and you to total your car. I wouldn't mess around with it, just not worth it.

But to each his own....
