Default ZO6 rims...

Well, I think that I'm going with ZO6's for my car(17's all around).

I can't decide on chrome, polished or gunmetal.

What do you guys think? Pics of my car are on my cardomain page. I'm leaning towards chrome but still up in the air.

I'm almost set on ZO6's so I think I'm sticking with them(was kicking around the idea of gunmental C5 thin spokes).

I'm all about some black wheels, but I just wouldn't find them appealing on that car.

Chrome.

That's not what I asked. I already have 17'' tires sitting here ready to be used. I'm also not forking out the $$ for 18'' tires..

I' d like to see the black Z06's without the rivets. If you' re considering chrome or polished, you need to decided how much time you' re willing to spend maintaining them I prefer the look of polished, BUT chrome is a LOT easier to maintain.

I'm not worried about upkeep, I'll do what I have to

I'm not digging the black on my car...seen my color car with black rims w/polished lip and it was just waaaay too dark on my car.

Polished you will have to keep nad polishing them a lot more often than chrome so they won' t start looking dull.

I see your point on the black wheels, black is not for everyone. I' d love some black wheels on my black Z, but I like the sinister look of a blacked out car. The thing about the black wheels, is that they would match your roof. I don' t think the Gunmetal wheels would look bad, and ofcourse they wouldn' t darken your car up nearly as much.

i put polished because while they will be harder to clean, and need it more often, they can also be much shinier than chrome and will hold up much better, won't flake or peel, etc...

i could paint the 10 spoke SS wheels i have to match your car, i think it would look sick, otherwise you can do a 35th style but with black and maroon

this is what i did for my bros car, personaly i think they look somewhat like the Z06s but better...

I appreciate the other suggestions but I'm pretty much set on going with ZO6's. I'm not NOT going with 18's(as already stated) because I already have a set of 17'' tires.

I have a MMM vert with 17" chrome Zo6 knock-offs and am quite happy with it. Polished takes way too much work try and look like chrome, and imho gunmetal won't go well with MMM. But then again I have a tan top vert and the shades of gunmetal can vary alot.

So unless I could see the gunmetals intended I'd have to say chrome.

Oh, and I think 17" are fine. A slight drop does more to make it look right than 18" wheels. Again, just my 0.02.

My Zo6's came from lakeshore wheel and tire. I've only had them for a couple months but they seem fine to me. Definitely on par with the medium priced chromes at local shops. I really think they are all pretty much the same.

I REALLY needed to get wheels and tires on my car, but if I was in a position to wait - personally I'd wait for Chinese guys to make new Zo6 knock-offs, where the spokes narrow outboard.

I betcha they'll be out soon enough and probably won't even be much more expensive, if at all.

chrome, its best for the "newer" cars, has a better look , the gun metal just look cheap when they get dirty

Love the maroon color, darker colors like that definately look better with the chrome IMO. J/W but why not go with 18"s atleast in the rear ? If i had a color other than pewter / silver or possibly white i would have went chrome

C6 Z06 replicas are already out there, just not much choice in the type of finish yet.
