decided on wheels, now tires
18x9.5 up front and 18x10.5 in back
From what i searches a 275/35/18 tire would do well on the front, but for the back, I am still ifffy on what will fit. I was looking at a 305/35/18 for the rear 18x10.5 wheels. Will these fit without modification to a stock height 98 WS6? If not whats a good size (maybe 295/35/18)?
Also, what does everyone use for rubber? Any suggestions?
thanks in advance!

Also 315's will fit on a 10.5 inch rim. But it would take some work to get it to fit. 315/30/18 would be the tire.

) 315/30 will also fit on a 10.5" wheel (rim range is 10.5"-11.5") and it leaves more space between the tire and wheelwell than an 11" wheel would. The rear quarters on the T/A flare out a little more that Camaros too, so you have more room there. More meat, more traction.
The 18"x10.5" C6 repro will have a 58 mm offset. They fit with no mods, front or rear. The 9.5's have a 56 mm offset. My car isn't lowered and I have plenty of clearance with 10.5's on all four corners. My friend's '98 WS6 is lowered with sportlines
with 295/35 on 10.5's all around and has no clearance problems either. Now all I need is a cam to keep up with him.

One snag you might hit with 315's is if the rear axle housing isn't centered in the car, so you may or may not need an adjustable panhard bar. They're really cheap, though.
