I have them (the 275 and 315s) and I have nothing but good things to say about them! They hold up really well and are very reasonably priced!

Personally I think they are terrible. For a few reasons. They wear fast. They don't hook and they are a skinny tire for a 315. My 275's (khumo 712's) on the front touch the ground the same as the 315's on the back. I can hit the gas at 2500rpms in second and spin them hard. I'm making probably 400rwhp/400rwtq so that may be more in the car than the tire, but I'm sure there are better tires out there. My main complaint is the size. The section width is decent but the contact path is terrible. The tread tapers off at the sides so there is about 1-1.5" (on each side) that doesn't touch the ground. So you are paying for a tire that will fit on an 11" rim, but only gives you the performance of a 275 width tire. I'll be going with the gs-d3's most likely.

truthfully, if you are looking to grip, these are not going to do it for you. In a 315 you might as well go with a nitto drag radial; imo the best gripping tire for the money. I have some htzII 275 on my front wheels and they hold up fine for what I paid, but when I had a set on the rears, they just go up in smoke

I'm also planning on buying TT2's (17x9.5/17x11) for my ride, Drag Radials or Sumitomo HTRZ?

I've had to 2 sets of them and probably working on a 3rd set now. I agree that traction leaves alot to be desired and they are skinny for a 315, but them bad boys are cheap!!!

I got pretty good traction with them on my car. I had them on my old tt2's and liked them alot! You cant beat that price either.

Mine weren't too bad when new. Now that I've gotten a few thousand miles on them, they break loose a little easier. But for the $$ they're hard to beat. I had a set on my '98 T/A M6 back in the day and they lasted pretty well considering how many times they got spun. I'll probably get another set when these wear out.

Traction is definetely an issue...but at half or even 3 times cheaper than the competition, they do just fine on the street. Also, I've had really good luck in the rain with them, if you DD your car

I have heard that they are quite loud on the road, if not someone please correct me as I am in the market for a cheap tire for the street.

I just took off some 17x9.5 on the front with htrz's 275's and 17x11 on rear with htrz's 315's.....They are good for the price, if your only going for looks.....the ride is ok I guess, the handling is fine, I guess, but the traction was poor on the street. Anything WOT under 30mph would smoke em through 2nd gear in an A4. At the track...I had to burn em, get them sticky, and still would spin some off the line. Got some 275 nitto's and they grip better than anything I've had thus far. But the 315's really look good.

You get what you pay for.

I doubt they have any of the cornering capabilities the better tires have, but if you just run 315s for looks and don't hit those '45mph' corners at 120, then you should be fine.

I think whenever I get my wheels I will go for these tires since they are cheap and I'll just get better tires the second time around(since I am at stock power level anyways).

Any photos?

yeah in that pic you can see good how the rubber dosnt touch the ground all the way, so in the can i wonder if you could run a 335 and get the extra rubber on the ground? d0 they make 335s in the htrz's? i guess ill need to go check! still looks nice and tough tho. nice dog what a stud!!
