What was your best 60' with Nitto 555R drag radials?
I'm thinking about buying a pair of Nitto 555R drag radials to decrease my 60 foot times and still be able to daily drive on the street. Therefore, I'm just curious as to what kind of 60 foot times everybody has been getting with them. Also, I've read that the 555R's are harder to launch than street tires when the ambient air temperature is less than 45*F(?). So, disclosing your best 60 foot time and the temperature at the track would be really helpful. Finally, please disclose any suspension modifications. Thanks in advance for the info.

My previous car, 01 WS6, A4, stock suspension, 3.23 rear, nitto 315s, pulled a best of 1.64. Had a tsp 225/225 cam, and ssf35500 stall.
In MY experience, they hooked better ALL the time vs street tires. Nothing hooks as good when it's cold, but I did some streetracing in some sub 30 dg weather and a nice burn out left them hooking just fine.

I've been 1.51 a couple of times on 315 Nitto's in various weather conditions.
