Now the other thing I need to know is which wheels/tires would be best for my car. Will drag radials hurt my cornering ability? I'd like to increase straight line traction as well as cornering 'cause I use it only on the street for right now. Hopefully it'll be strip worthy later.
If you want to stay cheap, put a 245/50/16 drag radial on the wheels you have now, i think we sell them for around 135$ a peice. If you want a bigger wheel, go to a 17x9, or a 17x9.5, with a 275/40/17. We sell 275/40/17s for as cheap as 135$. But be prepared to be all over the road in the rain on a drag radial. As for your hp overwhelming your tire setup, the 16 inch drag radial will be fine. If you decide to go with a 17 inch wheel, I have seen 450rwhp cars do fine on a 17 inch drag radial. hope that helps. 15x15? John force aint got **** on you lol
