Default How to Refinish '02 WS6 Wheels

Of course the search function isn't doing it for me, so who can help or direct me?

My '02 17" WS6 wheels are not at all as polished as I want them - in addition, I have a litle bit of curb rash on one of the wheels.

What do I do?

Remove the clearcoat, use an aircraft paint stripper and polish like you would any other aluminum part, you can do it by hand, or with a machine (check out eastwood for the supplies) or powdercoat, or whatever finish you like.
When the search comes back, there is a post that specifies a clearcoat that doesn't dull the polished finish like the stock clear does but I can't recall the name of it (if you wish to reclear your polished wheels)
As for the road rash, smooth it out with either a fine file, or sandpaper (depending on how bad it is)
