What will i have to do?

I will be getting the black z06 motorsport rims for my 94z. I know that these are the specs: Offset: 17x9.5 +54mm 18x10.5 +58mm. What will i have to do to get the 10.5 rears on my car with some bfg 315's without rubbing.

Fronts are fine, out back I personnaly think your nuts wanting a 315, but I digress. To get it to fit you will have to massage the inner wheel well with a BFH. To minimise the "massaging" a 1/4" spacer can be run too.

FYI - I feel a 295/35ZR18 is a PERFECT tire for a 10.5" wheel . . . .

How is that when our stock cars come with a 275 on only a 9"??

What's your point?

275's fit perfect on 9" to 9.5" wheels . . .

295's fit perfect on 10" to 10.5" wheels . . .

And better yet a 315/30ZR18 BFG Drag Radial is recommended for a 11" minumum wide wheel . .

Hmm I thought that there would be a bigger jump but I guess not...I figured with another 1.5 inches you would bump up more than that and run a 305.

so what is the biggest size tire i can get on a 10.5 wheel without having to mod anything to prevent rubbing?

Well, that presents a small issue, a 58 mm offset is not ideal for a 10.5" width, so if you do not want to do any mods, you probably have to run a 285 series tire, or rethink your wheel choice.

You are probally going to need the BFH mode on the rear even with 295's on there
