Default BFGoodrich g-Force TA KDW2's

My car is a daily driver during the summer, the other 9 months of the year I am away at school and store the car. I wanted to get some 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 chrome z06's on 275/front and 295/rear. Does anyone else here run these tires and what are your opinions. Also, tirerack says they have great wet traction, how true is this. Thanks for the info.

I use these, and they're great. However, if you only drive it during the summer, why not just get some summer performance tires that don't even take wet traction into account?

The only reason I wanted something that has good wet traction is because it is a daily driver, often times I have to take the car out in the rain a lot and sometimes have to drive pretty far for work and back to school for some party weekends. I just wanted an overall goods traction tire. Glad to hear that you like yours. Thanks

I have them and they are the best tires I have rode on. Dry traction is really good, wet traction is awesome, it was pouring down rain here for two days and the roads were flooded and I didn't hydroplane once or lose traction at all. If I can afford them again I will be getting another set.

Hi there, these tires are awesome. I got mine around October 05 and they are great on dry but better in the rain. I don't hydro at all and they stick as good if not better in the pouring rain. You can actually push it in the rain a little, it's unbelievable! I won't buy any other tire! I've had Kumho MXs, BFG kdw and these ROck. Later

Ive done some high speed corning with these tires and they really never seem to quit hangin on in dry conditions. I drive less aggressive in the rain but I have never had any hydro issues at all. Great tire overall with an aggressive look.

Good thing I came around this thread. I was lookin into new tires. I recently have nitto 555's and thought they were alright. But people at my work were tellin me that Gforces are the way to go. They hook up just right and tread is coo. I'm also going to be using these as DD all season, so hopefully these will pull through.,

I ordered a set as well awhile back, should be in this week. Ive heard good comments as well. Tirerack has alot of mixed reviews, but it seems here most people are for em. I trusted everyone here, so well see how they turn out.

I just got mine in the other day, 275/35 fronts and 285/30 rears for a 18 X 9.5 C6 Z06 Rim. The 285's are huge and im hoping not too big! very noticeable difference between the 275 and 285. Wheels should be here soon.

I agree with what everyone has said. The KDW2's are very good tires. I have not driven in rain but dry traction is much improved over my old Kuhmo Ecstas. I had heard they were a bit noisy but I think they are quieter than the Ecstas.
