New TT2's are on...Questions..
I just installed my TT2's (9.5s and 11s), hotchkis springs, Spohn double adjustable, and Bilstien revalves. Looks great. We had to cut the whole bumpstop bracket out with a sawsall. Anywho, on the way home, as I applied the brakes, I heard a grinding, it was coming from the front tires, sound like real bad brake pads, could it be the rims rubbing on the front calipers? It only happened when mashing the brakes. So far there has been no rubbing in the rear. I'll have pics after a few days.

I just installed Chrome C6 on my trans am, they don't rub or anything... difference is I have 17x8.5 on front, 18x9.5 on rear. I must admit that on the rear, its kind of close to the body, still no rubbing. Good luck on finding whats wrong with yours.

Yep had the same problem. Pulled out from discount tire with my sweet TT 2's and as soon as I gave it a decent brakeing it started grinding I thought my car was falling apart. I got home and jacked the front up and turned the wheel with my hand and it was touching the caliper brackets. You should be able to mount them where they don't rub but it will still be damn close. Just jack the front up and loosen the lugs and try and get the wheel centered sometimes when tire shops or you are in a hurry it does't get right smack dab in the middle. Usually it does't matter but with these TT 2's it does. I ended up grinding down the bracket some, it was just to close for my taste.

Everytime I see a damn TTII thread it makes me want them. Bastards!
FWIW, I had a buddy with TTIIs that also had the grinding problem. Seems to be more common than you hear. Easy answer, go with 18s.
