hoosier QTP (please help)

what size QTP is everyone using on stock 16 " rims? 26x9.5x16 or 28x11.5x16? will both sizes fit without modification or will the 28 be to big? TIA and how well do the 26s hook compared to the m/t street radial.

The 28" is too wide for a stock 16" wheel. You'd be putting an 11.5" tire on an 8" wheel. You'll have more clearance with the 26", it will hook just as well, and work better with your gearing. QTP's hook a lot better than the MT radial but they do not last long at all.

thanks 8banger . Im not really worried about tire wear they will be for track only . I just want some good hooking tires

i have a set of 15s on draglites for sale mounted with less than 20 runs and hooked SUPER HARD pm me for details.

yup 26x9.50x16 is what i have hoosier QTP on a salad shooter type rim. They hook they hell !! expect to have fun, i cut a 1.71 60 ft on dump/slip with a stock 10 bolt and a m6
