Default I know this sounds dumb but...........
Why do some 02's have thinner 5 spokes and some have these thick chunky things???

Pontiac changed the 17" wheel pattern in 02. The "chunky"
pattern is similar to the wheels offered on the eary Firehawks and Comp TA's

Hmmm........too bad. I hate these. If it had the thinner spokes I wouldn't have to decide what to replace them with.

You probably wouldn't be interested. The previous owner took outstanding care for the car except for the rims. She couldn't park against a curb to save her life. They have REALLY bad rash. Sorry.

really? i hate the thinner spoked ones, theyre the only thing about the 98-01 ws6 i dont like.

01-02 is the fatter style. 98-00 is the skinnier wheels.
