Default bfgoodrich g-force sports.

Can I get some reviews or comments on these before I purchase them for my 02 ss camaro? Any other suggestions or anything will be helpful. Thanks.

Hello supersteve, I got them. They stick pretty good. The only thing I feel I slip alot in the rain with them but I guess that is normal with the power we got.

had a set of sumitomos. not a very good choice if you want curb rash protection or a good handling tire. the g-force sports are about the same . a low end bfg tire. however .if you have the money for some bfg kd or kdw tires. you will not be dissapointed with them.

I actually went with the BGF KDWs recently for my new tires.

they are maybe 20 dollarsish more per tire, but they were 400AA tread wear rating, which is pretty damn high and Z rated tires still.

i like them alot. they really make for a nice ride in the TA and feel good all around.. I'm not dissapointed at all.

just my .02.

BFG G-Force Sports -

Pros - sticks very well to dry pavement, not too expensive. Mount and balance well.

Cons - Any type of moisture, even a damp road, and traction is just not there.

The sports are the best bang for the buck IMO. Ive had them on a few sets of wheels, they wear good, and look good.

Not very good in the rain? My whole basis is coming from tire rack, they were rated very high in all catagories and arent expensive. Thats why I am asking people here to get more idea of people with similar cars. If I go up, do the kdw's? no other names for the tires, i saw the kdw2's which look badass. Whats the difference between the kdw and the sports?

I actually had the avons on my 02 z28, and i was coming around a corner in the rain and it broke loose and next thing I know I am upside down. Not saying it was the tires fault, I just feel unsafe with them now. And they werent the sportiest looking tires either.

I know that feeling that I believe it has ALOT to do with the pavement and temperature. Just a day after I got my Z that happened really bad. I thought the g-force KDWS tires sucked really bad, but it never happened again. I must have hit ice. I had that happen in the rain with Kuhmo 712s a couple of times and once I went into the ditch when I hit ice on the highway. When it's cold even if it's dry, be very careful on summer tires. That rubber hardens up alot in cold weather.

I understand how after something like that you don't trust the tires anymore. I would probably upgrade also.
