Default Lets see pics of 325+ wide tires on f bods

Search wont work for me, and im thinking about buying some custom wheels and sticking some fat tires on them. Ill prolly be going with some 18x10.5 Fikse Fm5's, i hear that the wheels are very wide and can take a 335+ tire, is this true? I want to see some pics of 325+ wider tires on cars please.

335's will not fit a 10.5" wide wheel nor will a 325. 315 is the largest you can run on an f bod without modification or custom backspacing on the wheel. To run a 315 you will need an 11" wide rim. I personally opted for the 315's because I didn't want the added stress from backspacing on my axles.

I have the Fikse FM/5's that are 17x11 rears with 315's. I did see someone here a while back that did manage to get 335's under his SS without modifying.

yeah, and they stuck out Joe-Dirt style. 315s max, unless you mini-tub the car. Everything else sticks out.

I thought you could run a 315 on a minimum of a 10.5" rim. Correct me if I'm wrong.

They will fit on a 10.5 rim, they may bulge a tad, but I doubt you'll notice it. You'll notice it more so with say a 315mm GS-D3 than a 315mm Nitto 555 due to the fact that the Nittos run a tad narrow.

10.5" isn't a rating... It's a mesurment taken from the inside lip, to inside lip where the tire will be mounted. Sorry but 10.5" is 10.5".

I had 335 pilots on my camaro. They stuck out past the fender, no way around that, unless you mini-tub. Between them rubbing, and the way they stuck out, their not worth putting on.
