Exclamation Help me pick a set of wheels...

Since there are some great looking cars here with great looking wheels I figured Id start a thread to get opinions on what would look good on my car.

Ive always bee happy with my stockers.... but Im starting to look into other wheels.

Ive considered black TTs with polished lips ( TT wheels ) and I also like the HP EVOs with black centers... but they dont come with a 11" option for the rear. I also like the CCW Classic look with a black center... but they are so much cash!

Throw out some ideas... Ive thought about some C5 ZO6 wheels and have the face machined and the insides painted black, JUST like my Anny wheels (see pics below) and I think those would look sick, so far one of my fav ideas.

Let me know what your opinions are (must have a 11" option... feel free to PS the pics if you want.

THANKS!

i think that the 35th anny wheels on there are awesome, ive always liked them...a cool concept just poped in my mind...i really like the polished edge with everything else blacked out (how the anny wheels are).....maybe you can find another wheel that u can get and keep the edge chrome, machined, or polished and have the rest powder coated....that would be unique

EDIT*
i kind of tried it on the evo bc its a bad wheel but my its like **** bc the black wanted to go on the face of the wheel...if someone can do it better, go for it, but you get the idea with this...i think it would be bad

Nah.. I did widen the rear stockers. Long story short.. with the 11" widened stockers (not in those pics) I have to use a 1 1/4" spacer... which means I had to cut the stock wheel studs to use the new spacer. Now that I have a 9" coming I cant cut the new wheel studs because if I do I wont be able to run a race wheel with slicks.... because the studs will be cut and wont be legal at the track.

Crappy situation. So now Im looking for a new wheel that will have proper backspacing and 11" wide.... so I dont have to cut the studs on the new rear end.... so when I head to the track I can just unbolt and slap on a race wheel/slick and go.

I couldnt see that pic from my work PC.. it blocks a lot of pics but yeah.. thats what Im talking about. I think that would look GREAT! Maybe even gunmetal EVOS with the black insides with the polished lip.

Thanks for the idea and PSin' it for me.

Gotcha.
They widened them in the wrong spots eh??
Or is that just the way it goes with widened stockers??

If so, glad I went with the TTII's to get my 11" wheel out back.
Wheel studs look a little funny when running the street wheels though.

Looks pretty good on the 15" ProStars though.

I have the TT Ms and love mine. They are Anthracid on my car, but the black TT Ms would look awesome on your car. Click on the sig to see more pics of my car.

I think your car needs a polished wheel,I am not fan of black wheels.just me.A TT2 or TTm's would look good.

I cant decided between 18 inch TT2 or just going with TTm's.

Car looks great by the way I have a soft spot for the 35th ann cars.

The rims look really good, but the rear tires look really short in those pics. Not sure why.

They already make a machined face C5 Z06 wheel.
http://digitalcorvettes.com/forums/s...d.php?p=538208
There are pics of these wheels on camaros on here, but the search function is worth a crap right now.

And here is the same finish wheel in a C6 Z06 model.

Also I wouldn't rule out widening the HP Evos in black. They sit perfect on the f-bodys with the 38 mm offset. They would only be widened from the inside, so you could safely widen them to a 10.5 and not have any problems with rubbing and running a 305 or even 315 tire.

I think the C5 Z06's would look sweet. It keeps that 35th style to the wheel. I am partial to the Z06's.
