Default Ruff 280 You like?

What do you guys think of a 20x10.5 and a 19x8.5 setup? 285/30/20 and 245/35/19.... Chrome like the pictures the 20" have a 4 inch lip and the 19" have a 2.4 inch lip

No reason to go that big on an f-body. 18's would be the largest I'd go as anything larger tends to look retarded.

Yeah but when you take in consideration the size of the lip on the rims it doesnt look bad.. We'll see... I already ordered them

i had 19" HPR5s with a 3" lip. keep them at 19", they look bangin at that size. 9.5" wide in the rears and 8.5" in the fronts and your golden

i cant imagine going any bigger then 19" and not running into height problems. make sure you have a GOOD tire shop around as wellll

I know i fell in love with those rims but.... I want something diffrent.. its not an everyday driver... I can do 285/30/20 nd onlt increase by .5 inches over stock

well, i was thinking about getting a set of ruff 280s in black. i miss my HPR5s, but i dont miss the off centered hubs and the huge size of them. im probably just gonna get these in 18s and be happy

So even you think 19" are to big? Was it an everyday driver? I dont know I catch a lot of **** on this site for wanting 20"s on the back.. but that just makes me want them more.....

Vetts can pull off the differnt diameter wheels since they are designed from the factory that way with TIRES and WHEEL WELLS at a different diameter . . . F-Cars the tire diameter needs to be the same or the ABS fails . . . So F-Cars look really strange IMHO, when the side wall of the front tire is taller than the side wall of the rear tire.

An no I do not like the look of that Black Camaro, first too low and second the rear tire is narrower then the wheel . . . YUK.

xstaz answered some of the difference.


and vettes and fbodies are different cars. What wheels look good on an escaldade may not look good on an explorer.
