Default good cheap tires?

Inspection is coming up and I have a strong feeling im gonna need tires. I woulda done a search but whenever i search good cheap tires i get and error... and ONLY when i search that. Anyways, I have Kuhmo Ecsta MX 275/40/17 right now and im looking for something that hooks as good or better (dont really know how good they are I have no other experience to compare them with) Also I am a little broke now too so im lookin for cheaper tires. Any recomendations? or anyone have anything thier selling?

Have you looked at "fuzion" I put a set on an old bmw i have and they have been great for the money. They were like $55.00 per tire, but that was mounted and balanced.worth checking into anyways

I work at a tire shop and good and cheap normally dont go hand in hand. Most the times the cheaper the tire, the noiser it will be.

well most any v8 fbody will spin any normal tire at will unless its a drag radial or true slick. for the money, i have been lookin at the Yokohama AVS ES100s. obviously they will spin but they are supposed to hook a bit better than most and cornering/handling and everything else seems to check out nicely. they are about 130 bucks for a 275-40-17.

Kumhos. They have always held up well for me and are priced right.

Another vote for fuzions, had kuhmos on before them, and the fuzions hook better.

I would say Kuhmos, but if you want to go real cheap, go with sumitomos. I hear they wear a little faster though.
