the width isnt going to give you as much traction as the sidewall, there needs to be some flex, and with that you sacrifice handling, so would you rather go fast and straight or be able to turn?

As mentioned, i doubt they would do anything with that much horse. I have that size of tire on my car now with stock power and they can barley hook in 1st. They are not a DR, but still not a desirable size for anything with decent power, its just what came on my car.
Watch towards the end of this vid, im at about half to 3/4 throttle in 1st to try and keep it from spinning, and this is just with a couple bolt ons.
