Burnout tire recommendation

Burnout tire recommendation Looking for a little guidance on tire selection. I have a 98 TA with just a few bolt ons. I have never tacken it to the track, just like to drive it fast on the streets/highway. I have to buy new tires this year to put on Enkei 17" V1 rims. Any recommendations on a good tire for burnouts. Just looking for a tire with good grip, ok ride, etc. Price is somewhat a concern, as I dont want to spend $800 on a set of four. If I could get a good set for around $500 that would be great. Thanks for any help.

yokohama AVS ES100-they are a great tire for about $125-130 per tire. I've road raced with them. And I'm with everyone else. Why do you want a "burnout tire?" Anyway, they do make plenty of smoke. Trust me.

Ill look into the yokohoma's. When I say burnout tire, I just want something thats a little softer and easier to lite up if I jam on the gas from a standstill. I have Kumho's right now, and there's just a little squeek and they grab n go! Like I said, I dont really race, just want something thats fun for me. And burnies are fun for me!

kumho mx-cs when u burn out they put out colored smoke... if i ever wanted to roast em theyd be my choice

sofer subber will be harder to spin, adn they will burn off faster. if you just like spinning them and playing then you need to order some sam's or cosco speacials that are like a 50,000 + mile tire, will last alot longer when burning them and will be easier to turn over. but racing on them will suck.
