my dad had a black '01 SLP V6 Camaro, had the SLP grille, silver racing stripes, and the 16" silver ZR 1's on it. looked REAL nice

totally depends on the color car. dark color cars i would say chrome all the way. but for my car, which is red, im going with silver. silver zr1s on a red camaro look sweet

chrome is nice, but silver is just really classy lookin on some colors 
i love the silver ones on the SS cause i can just wipe them off and im done. the gunmetal looks awesome also.

chrome is NOT easier to clean. its easier than polished wheels, but silver wheels are just as easy to clean cuz they are painted and clear coated. u dont have to worry about spots on silver, and with chrome u have to wipe them spotless. im not saying chrome is hard, cuz its a lot easier than polished, but painted is just as easy to keep clean and spots wont make them look bad.
