Default Got my 315/35-17 GSD-3's today

Just thought I'd help my fellow LS1 owners out with some pics to give a rough idea of how big they are.

Tire rack lists these tires with a 12.6" section width, but as you can see they are MUCH bigger than that.
I'll post more once it get them mounted tomorrow.

I am running 285s GS-D3s on 17x11 ZR1s and I had to get an Adj. Panhard Rod Bar to get my Rear end adjusted. Its a very close fit so be carefull.

I REALLY want to see finished pictures.

Good Luck!

I was looking at buying the Kumho V700's. They look big.

What offset are your wheels?

You will love them in the rain. I had to do some minor BFH for mine to fit, but every car is different.

Ok...now I know for sure that there is no way I would get those tires....lol....I saw how little clearance I have now even after cutting that whole bumpstop mounting thingy off, honestly, judging by those pictures, that tire would still rub against the remnants when the car is in the air.

Stick to KD....hehe.

This may be a silly question but I thought I would ask anyway. If the tires is 13" + but the rim is only 11" will the tire still be as wide when mounted?

Not too bad. I had to BFH quite a bit and I still rub every now and then on big bumps, especially when turning. For example, when I turn into my driveway, the axle goes up on one side much higher than the other, so it rubs a little. I also rolled the fender lip, since it was gouging the BFG drag radials that were on the rims when I bought them, so it would have destroyed the ($315+) Goodyears. My rearend was already centered, but an adjustable panhard bar is a MUST.

The tires have a little bit of a lip to them that goes out past the rim. They're definitely still damn wide.

I can take more pictures, if you want them.
