I don't think those would look good on a late model F-body. They might look good on a 1st gen F-body however...

I just threw up a little in my mouth. Those are way too retro looking and look too much like Mustang wheels.

I agree they wouldn't look right on a 4th gen f-body, but calling them Mustang wheels kind of makes you appear clueless about GM heritage:

i love how people see a style wheel on mustangs and label it a mustang wheel... like cragar's or the ttm's. as if ford created this style wheel in 2002

i agree that those probably won't look great on a 4th gen.... somebody should photoshop it because i doubt anyone has them.

Well thank you for that "burning"...but I'm not talking about running 14" wheels like in the above example. The only cars on the road with large diameter wheels in a style like that are Mustangs (since I'm assuming he's not talking about running 14's on his car ). I think we can all agree that there's a huge difference between 14" wheels and 17-18" wheels and their overall effect on a car. By the way, I'm very knowledgeable in classic GM muscle cars.

Maybe I'll do a photoshop... I wasn't asking for opinions, but pictures. They're very different from what most people with 4th gens run, so it's hard to really say what they'd look like without actually seeing it. I wasn't trying to say I wanted them, but I kind of liked the style, and thought they may look good on a Black SS...

Here it is. Doesn't look too bad, really, and with the correct offsets (same as TTIIs), it would probably be better. Not sure it's what I'd go with, at least until I've seen some real ones.

Figured I'd go ahead and do another, just modifying the centers of a TTII:

Still not sure how much I'd like them in person, but after the second photoshop, which is more true to their actual design, I'm starting to like the look.

Ok wonderful example, but I'm talking about factory wheels. You can find one example of a car with a certain set of wheels anywhere. Now you're just being a dick. I don't care how many nice cars you have or how many posts you have on this site. I'm giving my opinion and now you're taking it further than it needs to go. That Chevelle looks terrible anyways, so now it's time for you to stop.

Do you really think there's only one or two examples of Chevelles with those wheels?

And another thing... take a look and really compare those to the Mach 1 wheels. There's very little similarity other than the spoke/face design. The Mach 1's are just a 5 spoke... none of the black area in behind like the AR wheel. The center cap is flush on one and sticks out on the other.

Good point! Damn, you got him.

Seriously though, tell me what it is that looks bad about a black/white stripes Chevelle vert? Please...

Point being... he called you out and made intelligent points with pictures to back them up, and you come back with "you're a dick," and "that looks like crap." Who took it further than it needs to be taken? I'd say childish name calling is where that line is drawn.

Back on topic... after seeing the chop I honestly don't hate it. I don't know that'd I'd personally spend the money on them but it looks like it could be kinda cool. Something different for sure.
