315/35/17 discontinued ? I had to buy a new set the other day because I got a flat and it rode in the rim for 4 blocks. The guy at the tire/wheel shop was telling that they were discontinuing the size because the new cars are coming out with 20s so the demand for this size was going down. I don't know if its true or not or he just wanted me to buy some ugly 20s. If anyone knows something please let us 17x11 owners know. Don't want to have to try to find a new wheel. It took me three years before actually liking the TT2s. Thanks

Not happening. For instance, Mickey Thompson just came out with a 315/35-17 very recently. Sure there is not a huge market for this size tire, but the current market is stable. I don't see this size going away for a while.

there is still a market for these size tires and wheels. Especially when Muscle cars come out with ugly as 20's and performance oriented people swap them out for something smaller and wider. I think the guy just wanted a more profitable sale.
