Default Keeping inside of wheels clean.

Interested if anyone knows any tricks to keep the insides of their chrome wheel's clean. I get tried of removing wheels just to keep them clean. I've even changed the brake pads to keep the dust & crap down but they still get nasty & only way to get them totally clean is to remove them I like to know if anyone has something they put on there that coats the wheel or helps keep 'em clean . TIA

Have you tried using Zaino on them? That should make cleaning them a bit easier.

Give up trying to keep them clean, unless you never actually drive the car it isn't going to happen.

it would probably be a pain in the ***, but not as much as taking the wheels off. you could jack the car up and crawl underneath and do it from the inside. i say F it, not worth it to me.

i clean my rims w/ mothers chrome polish, then put a layer of wax over them, and that kept it clean/easy to wipe dust off for a while, but i still had to take the rims off to clean them really well every 5-800 miles or so to keep them spit shine...but now my new rims inside isnt even chrome, but oh well ...zoop seal wont keep dust from collecting, it just seals the aluminum, u will still have to wipe it down fairly often, this is what i have heard about the product, not entireely sure though...for me, i like to keep my wheels clean...to each their own

Pressure washer seems to be effective. I'm not much
of a wash-n-wax fiend. Don't know if there's any
reason this is bad. Maybe you would be happier
if you painted the inner part black or something;
then it would just "go away" visually unless someone
is down there licking the lugnuts.

I do. I clean the hell out of the insides every time I rotate the tires. With the WS6 wheels the inside is very visible.

With the 5 stars on my Z, you cannot hardly see back there.

Hey guys I just use a bottle cleaning brush that came with a beer kit I used to have. The brush was L shaped but I just bent it out straight. Tha bristel part is about 1 ft. long and the wire handel is about 1.5 ft. long .The bristels are about as big around as the top of a beer can and with the thin but strong wire handel I can slide it right under my break disks. Then I just roll my car back half a wheel turn and brush were I couldn`t get because of the calipers. This works great on my stock painted wheels I don`t know about chrome. Man I guess I am smarter than I look.LOL
