What to do to make these Fikse fit properly?
As some of you may know I purchased a set of Fikse FM5s from a fellow board member, but they are not an Fbody offset. Here are the specs again.
17x9.5
BS 7 3/8"
Center line is 5.1875
17x11
BS 8 3/8"
Center line is 5.9375
My results are
17x9.5 55.5625 or 56mm
17x11 61.9125 or 62mm
From this imformation they where able to tell me that they are a C4 offset.
I had a sell pending on a corvette forum, but fell through. I decided to look to see what if anything I can do to make them fit properly. I jacked her up last night to see how far off it was. I mounted just the rear rim and it hit the bump stop just short of seating properly on the hub. Can anyone help me out? Thanks alot in advance.

I would think you'd have to run spacers on the rear. I had 17x11 +50 on the back of my TA and I didn't think they rubbed, but after I pulled them off I realized that they definitely did and obviously with a +62 they really won't work. Get yourself some longer studs and some spacers. The fronts will work.

Yeah I did by the body. You are saying I should jack it up by the rear? Also DopFedZ what is the offset of yours? Danny from Fikse and XstaZ28 both said they where from a C4 vette. SO a spacer is need for the rear?

I will try and mount a wheel this wekend jacking up the rear. I had TT IIs on another TA and I know what you are saying about the bumpstop riding in the wheels so to speak.

According to the ebay link when I purchaed them they were 56 fronts and 50 rears. The guy told me he had them on his C4.
I only needed a spacer for the fronts. The "mounting hub" of the front wheels were touching my the caliper bracket by a bit. Instead of grinding the bracket I already had extended wheel studs on the fronts so I decided to run a small spacer.
