i am sorta in the same boat, i am looking at them but i have heard from several companies that they are tooling up for a new mold for that particular wheel. so they are not sure when they will get anymore of them, a few places said as early as 3 weeks, but most said they have no clue.

they are awesome looking, no doubt

i just ordered new wheels and alot of places, one being right down the street from hp said they were discontinued bc hpo is making a new line up with all chrome lips. i bought the last set of hp split5's that place had but it seems like they are screwing around on me. as for wheelmax, they dont have the aza z-2 in stock with the 40mm offset and i dont like the 45 so thats a no go for me.

I just got a set of Ruff 278's which are split-spoke style. I actually have two extra 18x9.5's for sale, all you would have to do is get a set of 18x8.5's for the front. All of these wheels (HP Design, and Ruff Racing) are incredibly popular so the companies cannot keep up with demand right now. All of them are tough to find.

Here's the thread with the ones I got:

read the sticky and youll see what the offset is. simply said its how far in or out the wheel sits in the fender. its all about your personal preference. i personally think 45mm is to much for me, i like to stick out a little bit around 35 or 40 at most.with a 19 you might have to go with a 45 though so there will no rubbing issues, then again i have never had 19's, only about 15 sets of 17's and 18's lol

well it also depends on the width of the rim. thats why zr1's in 17x11 come in a really high offset, something like 56 mm, opposed to the 17x9's that are alot less. look at pics and ask for back spacing info. if you look at the sticky you should be able to understand backspacing. on a 9.5 inch rim, a 35mm offset will stick out 10mm more than a 45mm rim of same width.

With a 9.5" width wheel and a 40mm offset, you are going to have to roll the fenders and even doing that it will be a questionable fit in the front. Probably not doable if you are lowered and you like to keep your front fenders in one piece. I have 45mm offsets and it's damn close.

hmm so your telling me in my slammed ss with revalved bilsteins and sportlines, i cant fit none of the 4 different rims with a 40mm ive had under the fender without touching my lip? you can say the percentages are high but saying its going to happen is incorrect, ive never had to roll my fender on 35,40, 45mm offsets and ive never had a width smaller than 9.

I've personally seen 9.5" width wheels with a 35mm offset on a WS6 and they were definetly out too far, even for a rolled lip. If the car was lowered it would have had its fenders ripped apart at the first good pothole. Different people have different opinions about what they will do to their cars, but IMO 35mm are not safe on a lowered f-body. Do what you want in the end, but watch out for bumps in the road if you choose to go that route.
