Nitto DRs for the street??

Nitto DRs for the street?? I have 11" tt2s in the rear and i want a sticky tire for the street. I was looking for the nitto 555 non-drag radial tire on discounttiredirect.com but i dont think they make that model in the 315/35/17. does anyone know where i can get the 555 street radial in 315/35/17? if not, how many miles should i get on the street out of a set of nitto drag radials?? my mods are in my sig

most people seem to be getting 10-15k miles out of them... i got 12 on my last set on stock wheels... i just got ttms so i picked up the bfgs in 315 today and they seem to hook much better but im only hoping for 8k miles out of them

Nittos are a street drah radial....and if you have 1,000hp your not going to hook them lol
There perfect for a street car, and get good miles
People often try and compare them to BFGs or Mickeys wich are not daily driver freindly since they were out really fast

you have to get the nitto555R... they dont make 315s in the reg. 555's. You can get decent mileage out of them too.. depending on your driving habits of course.. Mine have been on about 5k miles and still look almost brand new.

Have been through 3 sets. They range from 8K-18K depending on driving habits. I have done both extremes and the other set lasted a bit more than 12K. So i'd say average of 10-12K miles w/ a lil self control.
They worked VERY well. I found myself with street tires on the new car and i ABSOLUTELY hate them. I want another set of nittos first chance i get.
Oh and x2 for the sucky track runs on them. They work much better on the street w/ VHT.

After toasting a set of BFG 315s (in literally NO TIME flat) Ive decided to get a set of 315 Nitto DRs for a few reasons. 1.. with the power Im making, or if you are making decent power, it doesnt matter what tire you have on while on the street.. if they arent warmed up your going to blow them off. 2.. Ive had Nitto DRs before and as mentioned already for street use they work really well. 3.. Nitto DRs last the longest out of all DRs. 4.. Nitto DRs vs Street tires in 315s there is a decent $ difference.
The only thing Im not looking forward to is the width difference from the Nitto DRs vs others.... I guess theyre a lot skinnier.
