Damn, that's almost as wide of the BFG at 12.6 and the gsd3 at 12.8 i think.

Yeah, they are pretty wide. They have more of a curve to the wall than the D3's but it's still a wide tire with a wide footprint.

I'm still extremely impressed with them.

Yeah,,,, 12.5 wall to wall... So I have been to the track... LOL....

BTW I just remembered and ran out there before I logged on to measure... sorry I forgot....

But went to the track and raced my buddies Shelby CSX shadow..
awful...
I decided to do what most people will do with their tires, move the lbs in the tire down. Welll this is what happened....
I COULD NOT HOOK.... first off 25lbs in tires... I will let video tell you.
had to let off to grip down so I could go.
Then 20lbs.. OMFG.. even worse.......
30lbs, they hook fine.. NO problems, but didnt run then.. LOL...
So I am thinking these vredessteins are meant to run on full tire pressure.
I could barely get to the gas station last night without peeling out everywhere. It was awfull....
So that was learned...
REMEMBER I AM STOCk.... buddy is down up... 25PSI of boost on his turbo.

www.turbofreak.com/vids/9-16-07-CSXvsZ28.wmv
2 races......plus me talking crap to him on the phone.. LOL didnt know he was doing that...

I will be putting my lid on before we go to 1/4 mile (Ennis) in Oct..
I am wanting to get times and all the good stuff all the way thru my upgrades.
After the lid, I am thinking some traction bars, my slicks.. 15" rims, and 24's for the slicks.

With that being said, what I am using to put down on the slicks will be
dynotune wet shot kit.

Kit should be in by the end of the year.... I will keep all posted on the vredesstein's till
my slicks go on. After that you will hear of them on the street...
Too nice of a tire to keep tearing up at the track.

Made it to the track.
Results are a best 2.1 60' spinning the tires. (any street tire is going to spin)
Ended up running a 12.8@111mph
Could I have done better, Yes! I gave up after 3 runs it was geting way too busy and the lines at the track were crazy so I left.
My car has LT's, duals, lid, cold air, ported TB and a street tune. 3.42 gears

Then I will at the track next weekend, and the weekend after that, and the weekend after that.....

WHAT tire pressure were you running them at????
did you drop pressure, or keep the same???

Nice run though...12.8@111mph....

I ran them at 32 PSI I didn't bother messing with anything.
Thanks for the compliments though. I'm very happy with the 111mph

They are the same tires that came on some exotics...
But man do they work dam great in the 315.35.17 tires size.
Actually they work better then any tire I have ever owned.
This including wet and dry.
I will not buy anything other the vredesstein now.

For sure.
