Default VREDESSTEIN Sessenta Ultra TIRES

OK, I had sumitomo's on my camaro. 02 Z28 to be exact....
Basically I have not found much of anyone with the vredesstein tire, nor much on comments, SO I said screw it and picked them up for my rear tires.

315-35-17

Let me say OMFG... These are some killer tires, they look killer, they stick like you would not believe. Man can my car jet now. Not much tire spin when I gun the hell out of it..

Basically I pay more attention to my control of the car instead the control of my spinouts on the sumitomos'

I recommend these bad boyz.... HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM>>>>>>>
Need them in the 275-40-17 to go with though....

here they are..

I have always wondered how good these tires are. They look like they fit good on your car, is it lowered? I love those fat lip style ZR1's.

Yes they fit awsome on the rims. The tire hugs the rim great, plus the tire has a nice size wall on it, so helps for some peeps who curb rims. The fatter rim tire will help with that, you will have ugly scuffed up tires, but I guess better then scratched rims.

The car is not lowered. It sits at its factory height. I am hesitant to lower it for my driveway might not allow me to park in my garage anymore. But I am going to do it.
I am planning on doing a 1" drop on the car. It is not much, but will give it a different stance....

There were a couple of threads on these tires a while ago. A guy did a full review on them. If you try and search you should be able to find them

Glad to see a good review. I saw these on ebay and was considering a set for the 18" wheels I have on the way.

I've had these tires for a while now and still love them. It was me who did the review.

Can somebody measure the 315 tires on the car? I want to know the actual width compared to the BFG's and GSD3's.

I just ordered a set of these for my car, they come in tomorrow. Theres a guy on ebay that has a ton of them in all kinds of different sizes. I picked up four, two 275/40/17 and two 295/35/18, for just under $700 shipped to my door. I cant wait to get them on.

So here is a little more information I have come up with on these...
above 140, awsome control.... I was about 146ish... and they were just insane.
So as for the water control.. WOW, I have not had such a good controlling tire in the rain like this one, especially for being high performance tire....
Here in dallas we get alot of puddles in the road, with my sumitomos, I knew when I hit one, with these, I am grabbing the steering wheel to hard . LOL... because it is not doing anything other then going straight......
But I will be at track inabout 3 weeks... Then again after that with NOS..
So I will put up my video so peeps can see their stickies...

As to how much was paid.....
http://www.performanceplustire.com/
has them for 181. each.. dont matter the size.. what kind of sucks...
275/40/17's 181.... 315/35/17 181.... either way... 180 bucks...
But well worth it... who can put on 4 tires for under 800... not bad....

Im in the DFW area too so I know what you are talking about with puddles. I just had these put on yesterday, and the difference between these and the Michelins I had on is night and day. With the Michelins in a turn when I really got on it my tires would break loose. Under the same conditions there is nothing but power to the wheels and wheels gripping road. No slippage whatsoever. And like you were saying at high speeds my car used to try and track one way or the other with the michelins. I am meticulous about my car and air pressures, so I knew it wasnt that. With these there is no tracking or wandering. Very quiet and great handling. I will never own another tire besides these. I just hope the price stays where its at.

I will measure the tire when I get home tonight and give you the verdict..
So you are looking for measurement on the 315 tire..

From wall to wall.. correct.....

Well one thing I will tell you is that they are definitely wider then the
sumitomos, or BFG's.. for the fact that I noticed there is a little rub on the inside when I take a driveway at a slant.....

It did not do this with the other tires... nothing for me to worry.. just noticed it.

But yes I will post the numbers later tonight....

ALSO FOR ANYONE IN DALLAS area..... KENNEDALE Sunday night..... 5 - 9..
Go woop up on some ricers asses...

I had Sumitomo 275 front 315 back on 17.9 and 17.11 ZR1's. Went CCW and had them add the VREDESSTEIN Sessenta Ultra tires 275/35 front 295/35 back. I noticed a night and day difference between the ZR's and the CCW's. ZR's and Sumitomo's always seemed rough and didnt like the roads. The VREDESSTEIN Sessenta Ultra like the roads no matter what and hook better than the Sumi..
