how would i tub it? Any write ups? I think im just going to cut off the fenders and do a custom wide body. Maybe ill go 14 inches lol. After all, a twin turbo low compression lt4 can out out about 800 horsepower on low boos ive found out. Mid to high boost and e85 i could get 1200. 14inches of rubber would definitely help

why is it that the people with the fewest posts always seem to have an unlimited budget to build 1000+ HP custom everything cars???

umm i had a different screen name for a long time but when my trans am was stolen, i said im not going to get another one so i deleted my user name. It said trans am in it. Ihad roughly 1000 now that i say that it could be between 750 and 1000. Then i got my ZO6 and made my new screen name. Then i found a great deal on this 96 WS6 and now i regret deleting it but i didnt see it coming. I also make a **** load of money. IM single and have no bills whatsoever and i make about $60,000 a year. Just got this new job im only 21 so im taking advantage of having no responsibilities and modding and building my dream cars now. I also just bought a 2001 Ferrari Modena, or rather im buying i guess you could say, that im going to build. I am also buying a 2004 or 2005 H2 SUT and lifting it.

And i dont think income coincides with amount of posts.

Based on what other owners with turbos and 345 tires say, they still don't hook very well. The sidewalls are just too short.

Sounds to me like you have big dreams. I don't think 60k a year is gonna get you to far with all the other stuff your buying. The first thing i would do is get some typing lessons lmao. Good luck with all your projects and def keep us posted

what does it matter how many posts someone has? maybe they have the money and just got into their first ls based vehicle. the number of post someone has shouldnt matter what they can do to their car.

+1 agree. I couldn't afford 1000hp tho. I'm just a lowly cnc machinist for now

I a 345/35/18 on the rear and my rearend is narrowed 1 inch on each side, offset lower control arms, and minitubs. My wheels/tires sit flush with the fenders, my car is also lowered. Hope that helps.

I don't think any tire can hold 1000hp. Check out the vids from Nelsons Racing Engines.

You can get 345's to fit up under a Z06 with mini tubbing. A good friend of mine did the 18x12 CCW Classics with 335's and didn't tub it, the tires were just to the edge of the wheel opening. You can tuck them if you tub it, it's really not that hard to do. There are kits out there to do it too. Check the Corvette boards.

yea youre right there, i always have more plans, not wishes, but plans, than money! I cant help it. If i had 10 Million dollars, id spend 1M on a house, pay for school, and spend the other 8.9 on cars, probably in a week. LOL. I can spell fine i have big fingers and i get in a hurry lol!

"From the post above"
i was actually talking about my 96 WS6 in this post. i decided to do a turbo first. Got my hot parts ordered, tehn i can work n my cool parts. The rims i got, but theyre not going on till i get the backs widened. After a long talk with my uncle who buils drag cars, ive decied to go 19x12.5 with spacers. At that point if its absolutely wont fit, he has a friend who will build me a narrow axle for next to nothing if i mention him here, of course through pm until he becomes a sponsor.
