You are correct.

I would be interested in running that size as well....but what size tire would fit that rim and who makes it?

Again, read the post again, the 7.5" backspacing will be released later this summer.

I know a few people think the 6.5"bs will work, but i am unsure of this...

I ran the 6.5" on my car with 275/50R15 Mickey Thompson ET Street radials with NO PROBLEMS whatsoever. I got the rims from a buddy who ran them on his 01 Firehawk with 325/50R15 DR"s. The only problem he had was every now and then on a hard launch they would hit his fender a little. By rolling the fenders you would solve this problem. No other modifications on the inner fender were needed.

Of course I have a fully adjustable suspension so I can tweak it if needed.

Could you PM me some pics of either one of your cars? I would like to see how far they stick out. Thx

My friend has some 6.5bs drag lites (weld ones) and they stick out past the fenders about an inch - inch and a half. If you want them to fit the best I'd wait for the 7.5bs wheels to come out.

You sure they are a 6.5" BS. Mine sat flush with the fender if you looked down from the top.

Are the camaro and firebird rear fenders the same as far as width goes? perhaps thats the difference?

You are right. Sorry, I should have stated this before I started talking. The Firebirds/TA's have a wider rear fender and can fit the 6.5" BS. I'm pretty sure they would stick out further on a Camaro.

Yes, he has a 95 camaro. He recently acquired a 9 inch that he narrowed two inches per side so they'll be tucking up really nice now.
