Painting wheels

What do you think of painting Z06 rims. I know they come in black and silver, but what about color matching to your car. Just was curious what everyone thinks.

Depends on what color your car is. I'd say no if it was hugger orange LOL.

i'm going to have to go with no on that... unless it's powdercoated and a nice color i cant imagine it looking good... and even then it'll look kinda tacky..

SOM wheels wouldn't look good. I have seen a good amount of cars with the same color wheels. A few have looked good. You could try it, now making it work, that would be a long shot. Go black or chrome..

I agree with what everyone else said with it depending on the color of the car. But Z06 wheels in som would not look right.

unless it's white on white, black on black, or black on white, it would be hard to get it to look good, IMO.

about the only other thing that comes to mind is the anodized blue rims on the white anniversary trans ams.

only black, white, grey, with the odd rare exception can look good in my opinion. Usually color matching looks like puke

Color matching usually goes hand in hand with crazy expensive wheels, such as HRE's, CCWs, etc because honestly no matter what color they will always look badass. And if you guys have never seen a color matching vette, it looks awesome if done right. Now on fbody's i agree only some colors can get away with it. black on black being the onvious one, and another example would be My NBM car which EVERYBODY confuses with my buddies black car at night. I have black wheels/polished deep lip/rivets on a NBM Trans Am.
