chrome vs polished input wanted
Polished wheels spot/stain when it rains
Chrome wheels almost always peel over time but clean easily
That being said, I own 2 full sets of polished wheels for my car...
15x3.5 & 15x10 Weld ProStars and 17x9.5 ZR1's...
Both clean up rather easily and look great when polished up.
i have triple plated chrome 18 inch Z06's befor the TT2's and they could be dirt as hell and still only took like 2 minutes with a dry cloth to clean

Good Points; Very Shiny, easier to maintain
Bad Points; Almost always deteriorate and flake, if scuffed or scratched only way to repair is re-chroming...which is costly
Polished Aluminum
Good Points; Easy to repair, if scuffed it just takes some elbow grease
Bad Points; Not quite as glossy of a look but in some cases i prefer the look of polished over the same wheels chromed (all opinions though). More work to maintain i think most people exaggerate the work involved in keeping polished wheels looking good but there is more involved, i polish mine about once a month or about every other wash job just depends on how they look.
I've had chrome wheels and polished and i much prefer the polished, yea its a bit more work but its in my hands, if the chrome wheels get damaged its expensive to repair. Polished all you need is a bit of sanding and polishing to look as good as new.
