pro stars on the street
Anyone drive around with theirs on, on a daily basis? I dont daily drive this car and def. wont after its done but I will take it out on the weekends. I remember seeing a thread somewhere about someone having a crack or hole in one of their wheels from driving it on the streets but I am unsure of why it would do that.

drag wheels are designed for drag use. 15" wheels are not a good choice anyways for everyday driving...handling is terrible in comparison to the stock setup.
There's no reason to use 15" wheels daily or for normal street use...there is no positive considerations to doing so.

I drive mine on the street quiet often and have not had problems. And there is a benefit to driving them on the street- I dont have to take them on and off every time I go to the track. Early spring and late fall I am on 10 spokes, between the two I am on draglites. In the winter I am in the garage.

15x3.5's in the front are the only issue. They are too narrow for the side loads genereated during street use. Go with 15x5's in the front if you can. Will handle much better and will handle the side loads with no problems.

Im not using skinnies up front I am gonna run 15x6s up front and 15x10 rears. Thanks guys. I like the look of the pro stars on the cars as oppsed to the vette and aftermarket rims. With the prostars/drag wheels the car looks meaner and the street wheels make it look like an all show no go car.

I've driven on Prostars for awhile, rear 10s and fronts 3.5 and no issues, even in rain(once). I think the Pros ride better than the 17s. They have more sidewall, are lighter so bumps and "rougher" payment isn't as harsh. Your handling ability will decrease but just driving, I love em. Drove them on 2hr trips many times and I have a friend from NC that drove his back and forth from his house to mine which is a good 5hrs one way.
