just get the nitto's for now, the BFG's don't last as long and when they start to get bald don't hook at all.

thats my plan until the street radials come back.

look into Hoosier's as well.

I'm really not worried about how long they last...my car sees about 3-4k miles a year... I read on here that the BFG tires hooked better than Nittos?

my buddy bought new nittos for his 03 cobra last summer prolly around 415rwhp, they didn't hook at all. It was a six speed car.

P.S. His gas pedal fell off later in the day. Fix Or Repair Daily LOL

they do, I just wasn't impressed with them compared to the life of nitto's.

then if its only 3-4k a year get some ET streets and call it a day....

I ordered a pair of these tires the day before Thanksgiving. I got on Summit to check the status on my order and it said that the expected date for them to get their shipment was April 20. I really hope that is accurate but i doubt it.

Here's the Summit Racing link for the M/T 315/35/17 DRs: http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...&x=40#footnote

They DO show 4/20/08 as their ship date, but I have an account with my local Keystone Automotive warehouse and they told me that since Mickey Thompson's tire casting machinery was shut down for almost three months at the end of '07 due to a defect in them that they're gonna crank out the faster selling DRs first and move on down the product line until they get their backorders filled.
