Default Biggest tire on the stock 16" rims?

Anybody want to give me a quick answer? search isnt working for me. I want to keep it in the 50 height so the speedo stays accurate.

255 is the widest tire you can SAFELY put on the 16inch snowflakes.

i believe there is a sticky on the tires and what you can fit safely on each diameter. But i do believe it is 255 like fccs said

i ran a 275 on my stock 16's for 2 years, not 1 problem. went threw 3 sets though.

yeah but they bulge out over the rim, I work at a tire shop and i wouldnt go any bigger than 255/50/16, it will look better b/c the sidewall will be thinner also.

you can get some 17"s from Tomz for cheap, them throw on some 315's

I really want to keep the rims and tires as light as possible, so I will be looking for light 16's or 15's

So where are you finding 275 width 16" tires? 255 is the widest street tire I have seen for a 16" wheel.
