having owned a set of the bfg kdw's i'm partial to recomment those as well. I loved the tires and they hooked great wet/dry for the money spent and was a good looking tire to boot.

I would get some Bfgoodrich KDW for the street for a tire less than $200. If you have the money get two extra wheels and mount drag radials on the rear.

With all that money spent on the cam, stall, and 12 bolt why not run a drag radial if you want to hook at the track?

+1 KDW.

Positives: Excellent grip, handling and treadwear. Mine lasted 25k including about 20 Auto-X events. Wider "appearance" than many other tires of same size.

Negatives: High noise level.

Thanks for the feedback, the reason I dont have drs is because I dont have enough for an extra set of rear rims. The rims are 17x8.

I have Goodyear Eagle F1's and couldn't ask for better dry or wet traction.. they run quiet, too. I got mine for $175/each from a local shop..

Go with a 275/40/17 goodyear eagle gs-d3 they are great all around. If you want somthing more aggressive go with a Nitto drag radial. They are actually decent in the rain while they have the tread on them. I put 10k on some and they were still good in the rain and had life left to them when I sold them. Good luck!
