Default ET Streets or ET Street Radials

Ok so I have a set of 15x10's that I am looking at putting some slicks or drag radials on. I ran 275/50R15's on it before with no problem in a ET Street Radial. Well I blew 2 rear ends and finally decided to get a S60. With the rearend able to handle the power I was thinking about upgrading to a ET Street or maybe even ET Drag. The car is a 6 speed car with 4.10's and pushing around 400 RWHP before the spray.

What would you guys put on a 15x10 that would be used for racing on the street with a few trips to the track a year??

i would say ET street radial then....they are safer for the street with the stiffer sidewall and if you get caught in the rain they are alot more safe....... ET street is a dumb idea for a street car cause i have had many freinds wreck their cars getting caught in the rain or loosing control cause they suck in the turns and will have you sideways in 1 second if your not carefull lol...... get the radial man!

Well my car NEVER sees rain unless I am caught on the highway traveling in it. And if that is the case I will have my 17x10.5 TTM's with 315/35R17 Nitto Drags on.

These wheels and tires will only be used for the occasional weekend race and the rare trips to the track.

I have ET Streets on my 16x10 Classics and I hate how they feel on the big end. I had ET Radials on the 15's I had and loved them. I'm just waiting on slow *** M/T to start making tires again so I can go back to a radial.

I would stay away from the et street radials with a 6 speed. They are sticky but the sidewalls are too stiff to handle the shock. I sold mine last fall so I could buy the et streets

+1. I've had both (6 speed) and I hook up much better on the ET Streets.

+2 it isnt the norm for a 6speed to hook well with radials get et streets or et drags and just drop the hammer at the track. I would also get a bias ply skinny for the front for you can get rid of the loose feeling you will get if you run a radial vs a non bias tire in the front. I tried running 17 radials in the front and it just feels to unsafe to me so i went out and bought some mt sportsmans and some convo pros.

That track you were at must have been prepped pretty damn good to get that 60 foot on drag radials. The track around here no matter how much you ride the clutch it wont hook on radials. Just think what 60 foot you would run on et streets or drags prob 1.3s.

I have had several pairs of ET Streets. I never had trouble with them on the road but I was always careful. The car loved to yaw back and forth a little bit on the highway.
