Default stripping and polishing 10spoke ss wheels???

I was wondering if anyone out there has stripped the silver paint off of there 10spoke ss wheels and polished them there selves. Iam looking into doing this and I already know its a lot of work but can it be done and what should I buy for sandpaper and other things. Any would be awsome thanks. Pics would also be appreciated.

I am working on mine right now....sand down any imperfections with 320 grit paper, then applying a light coat of primer, followed by 2 coats of Duplicolor silver wheel paint, then 400 grit wet sanding, another coat of silver, then painting the spokes with 2 coats of black wheel paint, wet sand again, another black coat, and 3 coats of clear. I'll post pics when I'm done with the first one.

yeah, no offense but Iam looking to have the wheels stripped by sandblasting them, and I was looking into a kit from the eastwood company that smoothes and polishes mag and aluminum wheels, just want to know if anyone has done this.

Sandblasting would be best probably but, if you want to do it yourself you would probably need aircraft stripper or auto stripper for it.

Yeah I tried aircraft stripper first, and it worked somewhat but not as good or as quick as paying 25$ to have one wheel stripped. Its more of the polishing that Iam concerned about. Like what if any kits I should buy, etc...

I had a shop polish my silver ten spokes. The shop polished the lip and the spokes and got rid of any curb rash that was on the wheels. I sold them awhile ago but this is what they looked like. The shop charged me $25 per wheel.
