I was just looking at the Greg Weld wheels and noticed they are unilugged!?! I have heard horror stories of unilug wheels and is curious of anyone had raced with them yet? How is the stability? Any vibrations? What lugnuts is everyone using on there cars? These maybe going on my 85 Monte.

greg weld has lugnuts that are specific to the wheels with different washers for each bolt pattern

There are actually two holes, drilled seperatly. its not a slotted hole like you may be thinking it is. It would look more like an '8' as opposed to a '0'. The lugs fit snugly in there, and does not slide aroud at all. Here is a close of of the holes i took when i got my wheels.

dlove or skinnies, what all did it take to get the wheels to fit??? I just got mine today (15x10 6.5BS) and really the only thing that is actually hitting is the emergency brake cable bracket. After I take that off they may fit but I can't really tell.

the info was given to the plant making the wheels and it takes 20days to switch over the tooling but once that is done the wheels will take about 10 days or so to get here depending on how long it takes to get through customs. that being said i would expect to see test wheels here in the next couple weeks

it took an extreme amount of grinding on skinnies calipers

Yeah I figured that out last night after I spend about 2 hours grinding my calipers and brake brackets down to nothing. And SUPRISE! The wheels still didn't fit. I'm sending them back today and am going to try and find a set of prostars to run at Track Day on Aug 2. Then maybe when Greg decides to get his head out of his *** and make some to fit I might buy a set then.
