Attention anyone wanting REAR Greg Welds
I am helping them with proper fitment and sizing for f-bodys. Please listen to me when i say this...
The rears currently DO NOT fit as planned. That includes ls1 and lt1 brakes. They can be made to work on lt1 with a lot of grinding. But I would not recommend it to anyone, especially when the new redesigned ones are on the way. They are expecting them in 30 or so days.
They hope to get a demo wheel in the next 7-10 days so we can double check the new fitment. Once that happens I will post lots of pictures of the fitment and give everyone the go ahead to order.
I don't want to see people get the wheels now and then complain because they dont fit.
I can try to answer any questions but i'm not affiliated with Greg Weld Wheels. Just a informant.

hurry up and get some 17's (star design)...
It is a good thing that you are working with them and keeping us informed. I know it is not your duty to do so but we (I) appreciate all your efforts...!

I may just get the fronts for now. I killed my 295/35r18s doing some donuts and they cost $480 for 2 cheepest tires. Well i can buy GW fronts with tires cheeper then that and throw my front 17x9 wheels and tires on the rear until the new rears come out. I do not mind grinding the rear brakes as long as i dont have to go anymore then you would with prostars! When will the new rears be out?

yup i just talked to summit also they are going to have the same part number also. They adviced me to hold onto mine and send them back in 30 days when they get the new shipment. My question is why the same part number why not put a added number or diff digit so i dont have to worry about sending mine back and getting the same non fitting rim.

I called summit today, and they told me to cal greg weld racing. So after a talk with them the guy said that the new 15x8 would fit the 98-02 f-body with grinding. He ASSURED me that with grinding they would fit. I am trying tonight, and will get back to you guys tommarow with the results.
I took off the caliper, and put them on, and WOW. Look great, and fit perfect. just am going to have to see.
